About the Award
The Wonderful Award for Corporate Philanthropy was created by the Central Valley Community Foundation to recognize a business located in our six-county service area and models The Wonderful Company’s philanthropic philosophy and approach of place-based giving; listen, learn and collaborate; build a healthy society; and long-term commitment. Who Can Submit a Nomination?
Nominations for the award can be submitted by anyone, including business owners, employees, non-profits, etc.
Award Opportunity
The winning business will be given the opportunity to make a $50,000 “The Wonderful Award for Corporate Philanthropy Grant” to the non-profit of their choosing.
Timeline
The submission period is now open and will close on August 21st. The judging process will begin in late August, and the awardee will be notified in mid-September. The award will be announced at the Central Valley Community Foundation’s 60th Celebration on Friday, October 9th.
