About the Award
The Wonderful Award for Corporate Philanthropy was created by the Central Valley Community Foundation to recognize a business located in our six-county service area and models The Wonderful Company’s philanthropic philosophy and approach of place-based giving; listen, learn and collaborate; build a healthy society; and long-term commitment.​​ To learn more about The Wonderful Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility work, click here.
Who Can Submit a Nomination?
Nominations for the award can be submitted by anyone, including business owners, employees, non-profits, etc.
Award Opportunity
The winning business will be given the opportunity to make a $50,000 “The Wonderful Award for Corporate Philanthropy Grant” to the non-profit of their choosing.
Timeline
The submission period closed on August 21st. The judging process began in late August, and the awardee will be notified in mid-September. The award will be announced at the Central Valley Community Foundation’s 60th Celebration on Friday, October 9th.
