The main purpose of this study is to quantify the job-creating potential and anticipated economic-catalyst effect associated with the large investment that will occur to implement the terms of the Settlement. The main work to restore the San Joaquin River and the resulting recreational industry expansion resulting from the river restoration will generate at least 11,392 jobs in the San Joaquin Valley.
