About Center for Community
Welcome to the Center for Community! Central Valley Community Foundation is happy to offer nonprofits and community organized groups a free space to reserve for meetings, trainings, workshops, lectures and luncheons. As a nonprofit we know firsthand the importance of having access to a space to convene with staff and community partners. Opened in 2015, the Center for Community is a collaboration hub for donors, nonprofits and the local community.

When is the Center for Community available?
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (including set-up and take-down time)
The Center for Community is available for the following:
Center for Community (C4C)
- Fits 45 people with seating and tables
- Fits 80 people standing
- Two flat screen TV’s
- HDMI in and out-put
- Boardroom table that seats 16
- Large flat screen TV

Yes, we do.
How much is it to reserve a meeting space?
Central Valley Community Foundation gladly offers our three meetings rooms to all nonprofits and community organizations free of charge.
When am I able to make a reservation?
Our meeting rooms are only available Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm. This includes any set-up and take-down required for your event.
Can I choose which conference to reserve?
Yes, please select conference preference in the reservation form.
Please note: CVCF does reserve the right to place your event in the appropriate conference based on number of attendees at your event.
My event starts at 8 am— can I set-up the evening before?
If the conference room you are reserving is available from 3- 5 pm the evening before you may reserve for set-up. In the reservation form please select, “I’d like to set-up the day before if the room is available.”
How far in advance can I make my reservations?
We are fans of planning ahead; however, we understand sometimes events need to happen last minute. If the conference room you need is available, we’ll confirm your reservation.
Reservations can only be made within that year. Our 2020 calendars are not open. Please check with Laura Ramos at firstname.lastname@example.org on the current status.
Can I make reoccurring reservations?
Yes, however there are limitations. Please speak with Laura Ramos at email@example.com.
If I’ve reserved the space in the past, do I still have to submit reservation requests through the online form?
Yes, all reservations must be submitted through the online form.
I’m needing to make multiple reservations, different days but same times, do I need to submit a separate reservation for each date?
If all the details of your meeting are the same, except the dates, fill out the reservation form and in the “Additional Notes” section add the other dates. The Community Engagement Associate will follow up with questions if needed.
Will the room be set-up for my event?
In short, no. We have over 300 groups with over 5,000 people using our conference rooms yearly. Therefore, all set-up (tables, chairs, food, printed materials, signs etc.) must be done by your organization and same goes for take-down. The room should be put back just as it was found.
How do I make a reservation?
All reservation requests must be submitted HERE. We are no longer taking reservations via email or phone.
Does CVCF provide any coffee and/or water service?
Due to the high volume of reservations and reservations being free of charge, we do not provide this service.
My event will be catered, can CVCF help me place an order?
All catering must to coordinated with your organization. For recommendations, download our restaurant/catering suggestion list.
What kind of tech equipment does CVCF offer?
Currently we offer the following:
- Computer Clicker
- HDMI Adapter for Mac laptops
- HMDI Cord
- Flat Screen TV’s in each conference room
- Conference Phone (Please provide your own phone line)
This is first come first serve. As an extra precaution we ask that you also bring in any equipment you need for your event.
Does CVCF offer any printing?
No. We are not responsible for providing any printing.
Can I make a reservation on the weekends?
No, our office is not open on the weekends.
