For well over 33 years, the Latino Employee Resource Group (LERG) has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving professional development of our members and in helping the communities we’re a part of and that we serve. PG&E Latino ERG members have supported the community by hosting community events, volunteer events, conducting numerous fundraisers and encouraging the advancement of youth education through scholarships.

Latino ERG Youth Achievement Camp

For the past 33 years, Latino ERG has been providing an opportunity for young students to participate in the PG&E Latino ERG Youth Achievement Camp at PG&E’s Wishon Cove campground located in Bass Lake, California.

The purpose of the camp is to encourage students to seek a positive lifestyle by understanding the values of a better education. Our student concentration has been with 5th & 6th graders who may be disadvantaged because of their ethnicity and /or economic environment. We often find this small camp can change the lives of these children through leadership and confidence building activities.
